Jack holding Triplets
Charlee B, Susanna & Jaclyn
Anne Geddes is delighted to announce the seventh image to be released for sale from her collection
of fine art Limited Edition Prints.
In September 1999, three of the most delightful little girls were brought into Anne’s studio for what
turned out to be a very special shoot. Charlee B, Susanna and Jaclyn are identical triplets which their
mother Lisa said the incidence of naturally conceiving is about 1 in 30,000. Apart from Maneesha, they
were the smallest babies Anne had ever seen.

To hold a new baby in your arms is magical, but the experience intensifies to a whole new level when
holding a premature or very tiny baby. There is a sense of such exquisite fragility, a sense of a life
that could so easily have not made it into the world, of a gift almost withheld. In this case multiply
the magic by three. The girls were just like tiny little birds that had been plucked from the nest.
