Anne has certain images that have special meaning for her. For a host of reasons, some images from Anne’s extensive body of work have isolated themselves as her favorites. These are the images that she selected to be printed as limited editions. For Anne, the three stages of creativity are: the idea, creating the image and producing the print. Creating the image involves bringing together the elements of lighting, background, props and the spontaneous magic that happens when each baby is photographed. The printing stage is also recognized as a creative process; in these Limited Edition Prints, the detail and nuance of each image is superb. With every Limited Edition Print that Anne creates, she works closely with her printers to enhance the essence of what she wants to communicate. The personal attention and creativity dedicated to every Limited Edition Print makes it distinct from the prints produced on a commercial printing press, such as the books and posters. Anne Geddes is delighted to present Poppy’s Feet, the sixth image to be released for sale from her collection of fine art Limited Edition Prints.

To suit the delicate nature of the image, Poppy's Feet is the first of Anne's Limited Edition prints to be released in a smaller size and as such, features in the new Classic portfolio.
